Luke 10 We
see these in our own lives ?
Robber - What is yours is mine
Priest/ Levite - What is mine
is mine
Good samaritan- What is mine I
share with you
Inn keeper- What is mine is not
free for you
Luke 10:25-37 (NIV)
25On one occasion an expert in
the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to
inherit eternal life?"
26"What
is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do
you read it?"
27He answered: "‘Love the Lord
your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
strength and with all your mind’£
; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’£"
28"You
have answered correctly," Jesus
replied. "Do this and
you will live."
29But he wanted to justify
himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"
30In reply Jesus said:
"A man was going
down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers.
They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half
dead.
31 A
priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man,
he passed by on the other side.
32 So
too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the
other side.
33 But
a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him,
he took pity on him.
34 He
went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put
the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him.
35 The
next day he took out two silver coins£
and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I
return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
36 "Which
of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the
hands of robbers?"
37The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him."
Jesus told him,
"Go and do
likewise." |

Galatians 6:3-6 (NIV)
3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is
nothing, he deceives himself.
4 Each one
should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without
comparing himself to somebody else,
5 for each
one should carry his own load.
6 Anyone
who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his
instructor.
1 Corinthians 6:12 (NIV)
12"Everything is permissible for me"—but
not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for
me"—but I will not be mastered by anything. |
Enemy
|
Matthew 5:44 (NIV) 44But
I tell you: Love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you
Romans 12:20 (KJV)
20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst,
give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Exodus 23:4 (KJV)
4If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray,
thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

One Another |
1 John 3:10-11 (KJV)
10In this the children of God are manifest, and the
children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother.
11For this is the message that ye heard from the
beginning, that we should love one another.
1 John 3:14 (KJV)
14We know that we have passed from death unto life,
because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother
abideth in death.
1 John 3:23 (KJV)
23And this is his commandment, That we should believe on
the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us
commandment.
1 John 13:35 (KJV)
35 By this
shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to
another.
1 John 4:7-8 (KJV)
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of
God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is
love.
1 John 4:11-12 (KJV)
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to
love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love
one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
How to Love
1 Peter 1:22 (NIV)
22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the
truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another
deeply, from the heart.£
1 Thessalonians 4:9-11 (NIV)
9 Now
about brotherly love we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves
have been taught by God to love each other.
10 And in
fact, you do love all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you,
brothers, to do so more and more.
11 Make it
your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work
with your hands, just as we told you,
1 John 3:16-18 (NIV)
16 This is
how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we
ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 If
anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no
pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
18 Dear
children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in
truth.
HUSBAND LOVE YOUR WIVES
Ephesians 5:28 (KJV)
28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies.
He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Ephesians 5:33 (KJV)
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so
love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence
her husband.
WIVES
Titus 2:4 (KJV)
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to
love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home,
good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not
blasphemed.
