1^st Corinthians 12:3

3Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

The 4-fold confessions are :

1. JESUS BE PRAISED

2. JESUS IS LORD

3. JESUS IS BORN/OF THE FLESH

4. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD

1. JESUS BE PRAISED

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will automatically priasefd God and declare Jesus to be praised, gloried and honoured. In everything, give thanks.

John 16:13-14

13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.

2. JESUS IS LORD

Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, we will declare Jesus is Lord. Holy Spirit dethrones self and focus on Him. In our lives, we often allow other things to become our boss and master instead of restoring Jesus to His rightful place. When we receive Jesus- the goodness of Jesus can overcome our situation- Why do you call me Lord but not do the things I ask you to do. So freely receive and freely give. 

3. JESUS IS BORN/OF THE FLESH

1^st John 4: 1-4

2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

 4You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

The death of Jesus on the cross does 2 things:

-Salvation – taking away sin of the world

-Healing- included in the crucifixion

Psalms 22:16

16 ………. they have pierced ^[c] my hands and my feet.

Isaiah 53:5

 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
       he was crushed for our iniquities;
       the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
       and by his wounds we are healed.

Zach 12:10

10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit ^[a] of grace and supplication. They will look on ^[b] me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

Heb 10:5

5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
   "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
      but a body you prepared for me;

4. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD

1^st  John 5:5-12

5Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

 6This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7For there are three that testify: 8the^[a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9We accept man's testimony, but God's testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

John 1:49

49Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel."

Luke 1:35

35The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called^[c] the Son of God.

1^st John 5:13,19

 13I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

19We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
